Our Story
Not having English as a native language should not impede equal educational opportunities for children to achieve their goals.
Language is not just the words you know; it is a gateway to accomplishing your goals and living a good life.

However, for many, it remains a barrier, leaving them to navigate their educational path without the necessary support. Many students go through generic literacy education that does not set them up for success in school and, subsequently, in the real world.
As the Founder of StoryBox English and a first-generation immigrant, I was fortunate to have received a well-structured and engaging English education prior to arriving in the United States. I saw firsthand what that looked like.
Today, as a father of a young girl whose native language is not English, I want her to learn English in a well-structured and engaging way at her school. I fear that, despite the best efforts of dedicated educators, she could still face the challenges many English learners encounter due to a lack of the right educational resources.
After researching this subject, I realized that this is not just a personal issue but a challenge many immigrants and their children face on their way to realizing their own American Dream.
StoryBox English collaborates with educators and districts, focusing on empowering students to grasp the English language early on so that they are better prepared to navigate school and social situations. We bring decades of experience in English education, supported by proven educational theories and innovative methodologies that have already enhanced learning for EL students across various settings.
We envision a future where every learner, regardless of their linguistic background, can integrate into the multicultural fabric of America while honoring their own cultural identities, fulfilling their aspirations, and contributing positively to society.
Let's partner to unlock every student's potential.
